The World Travel and Tourism Council has warned that if Britain leaves the EU without an agreement, around 308,000 UK-based travel and tourism sector jobs and a further 399,000 in the EU would be at risk over the next decade.

This is based on an IMF forecasts of a 7.7% decline in economic activity if the UK crashes out with no deal, which also predicts a total cost across Europe of over £40 billion.
