Winners of the World Travel & Tourism Council Tourism for Tomorrow Awards were revealed at a ceremony during its Global Summit in Seville, celebrating ‘inspirational, world-changing’ tourism initiatives globally. The awards covered climate action, destination stewardship and social impact, among others.

The 183 applications were whittled down to 15 finalists. Findings announced during the Summit included that almost half of travellers would now pay more money to travel sustainably, and the launch of a global taskforce against human trafficking, which affects 30 million victims worldwide.
