VisitEngland is working with the brand owners of the award-winning British children’s animated television series Peppa Pig on an interactive campaign using a Peppa Pig style map and clips, in an effort to inspire young families to plan their next adventure in England.

The family market represents about a third of the potential domestic tourism market in England, and targeting this pre-school age group can increase the economic benefits of tourism off-peak.

The £650,000 campaign aims to generate more than 225,000 additional overnight stays in England from families this year, adding a £16.5 million boost to the economy.
