VisitWales has awarded £290,000 to six projects under its Tourism Product Innovation Fund to use virtual reality in a bid to promote Welsh attractions.




VR is becoming increasingly popular as it becomes more affordable and accessible, enabling people to interact with a location or attraction they might otherwise not consider visiting. Welsh Economy Secretary, Ken Skates, has described VR as leaving a more “lasting impression” than a brochure or advert.
