A Sydney-based accommodation startup targeting the corporate traveller market has expanded into Melbourne, aiming to manage at least 100 serviced apartments in the city by the end of the year, leasing apartments, and sub-letting to corporate travellers such as KPMG and Deloitte.

It aims to disrupt the longer-term corporate accommodation industries, particularly serviced apartment providers, which it describes as old, with low-quality service, or better but with exorbitant pricing. It wants to do what it says Airbnb did in the hotel industry, except ensuring consistent quality and processes for the corporate market.

Rates are around 30% cheaper than equivalent hotels, and it has set its sights set on New Zealand as its first international market.
