The UK Government decreed that all guest accommodation providers can reopen from 4 July, and has just updated guidance for hotels and other guest accommodation on how to open safely while minimising the risk of spreading coronavirus.

Since large gathersings are still not permitted, hotels and other accommodation providers should not host conferences or events until guidance is changed, but large grounds where available can be made available to the public.

People travelling from certain territories overseas will be required by law to self-isolate for 14 days, and holiday accommodation businesses can provide rooms for this, as long as they follow the same guidelines on social distancing and cleaning.
