A group of 13 members of the World Travel & Tourism Council have visited 10 Downing Street to urge the UK government to support the opportunity for the travel and tourism sector to enhance the UK’s competitiveness when it leaves the EU.

WTTC research shows that the UK hospitality sector grew three times faster than the wider economy last year, and sustains millions of jobs and billions of pounds for the UK economy.

It also called for support for the country to continue to enhance its digital leadership after Brexit, which benefits the industry.
