Northern Ireland tourism spending reached an all-time in 2017, at £926m, an increase of 9% on 2016.

international visitors accounted for £657m of that, especially drawn to the Titanic Belfast attraction and the Giant’s Causeway Coastal Route, which itself had more than 1m visitors.

In 2017, there were an estimated 4.9m overnight trips, with British tourists accounting for 29%.
