Bucking the general economic trend in the US, a report from Urban Land Institute and PriceWaterhouseCoopers outlines an optimistic outlook for real estate, and lists ten emerging trends influencing the sector.

These include the rise of second tier cities; millennials looking to settle down in (future-ready) suburbs when ready to raise a family; the changing office landscape, including co-working; the decline in home ownership across age groups; doing away with parking lots; and the rise in urban agriculture.
