2018 south-east hotel investment volumes break £1bn

Native unveils first Scottish aparthotel

ASAP Member aparthotel group Native has unveiled its first Scottish property, Native Glasgow, formerly the headquarters of the Anchor Line Shipping Company, now offering 64 apartments ranging from studio to penthouse spaces. Facilities include 24-hour reception, concierge and free high-speed Wi-Fi as well as two  restaurants, The Anchor Line and Atlantic, open from breakfast through to dinner.

Singapore-based Heeton Holdings has acquired its first hospitality asset in Scotland, Stewart Apartments in Edinburgh’s New Town, which will be renamed the Stewart Aparthotel. Scottish hotel sector reports healthy growth

Despite Brexit uncertainty, a report from commercial property agency GVA shows strong hotel performance across the UK last year, and significant growth in Scotish tourism is forecast.
