New research from apartment operator Cuckooz shows that the weaker pound has made a trip to the capital much cheaper for business travellers.

It compares the average cost of staying in London and its effect on ten major currencies today, and before the EU referendum vote. For instance, in June 2016, the average London hotel room would have cost Europeans €183/night, but weak sterling has taken this down almost 10% to €166.

The biggest savings are for Japanese visitors, dropping a £170/night equivalent 12.6% to £148 per night.
