New research from market research firm GfK and American Express Global Business Travel outlines the biggest issues facing companies as they deal with developing a travel policy, with the constraints of budget, but avoiding frustrating their employees.

75% of American business travellers said their companies had clear, and also strict, travel policies; French, German and British travellers said their travel and expense policy was unclear.

Respondents from India were the most satisfied about business travel, from morale to work-life balance,while incentives to save money on bookings, such as points, bonus vacation days or paid time off, were received differently according to nationality.
