According to the latest data from ASAP Business Partner STR, weekly hotel occupancy in the US reached 50% during the week of August 9 to August 15, for the first time since the week ending 14 March.

Occupancy rose to 50.2%, up from 49.9% the week before, still down 30% compares with 2019. ADR reached $101.41, down 23% year-on-year, with RevPAR down 46.1% to $50.87.

US occupancy has risen for 17 of the past 18 weeks, although roomnights sold have slowed.
