SINN FÉIN has proposed a total ban on co-living arrangements in a new bill, urging the Minister for Housing to sign it off, despite support across the floor.

Describing co-living as a bad form of housing, they call it like living in a car parking space, and bad for local communities as it incentivises the building of co-living over affordable, good quality apartments.

There are currently at least ten applications for Co-Living developments in Dublin alone. Protesters point out the high risk of Covid-19 transmission.
