The Singapore Tourism Board has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Alipay to enhance the overall experience of Chinese tourists with better information access before and during their trips, and to help local tourism industry stakeholders to understand and target Chinese consumers with more relevant products.

General tourist spending in Singapore has increased by 15% in the first quarter of 2017, with China the top international visitor-generating market increasing by 14% to 851,000.
