According to the second annual Allianz Travel Insurance Sharing Economy Index, twice as many Americans will use sharing economy platforms such as Airbnb, Homeaway and Uber transport, tours or accommodation this summer compared to last year – 36% compared to 17% in 2015.

It said 65% of Millinnials will use sharing services, and Uber tops the list for brand recognition followed by Airbnb, Lyft and Homeaway.
