A new survey of UK hotel workers by Miele’s Professional division has found that guests would trade a scenic view from their hotel room for a high-quality bedding, ahead of a welcome, room facilities and star rating.

88% said the bedroom was the most important part of a hotel, but workers identified stained linens as the second most likely customer cleanliness complaint.

Most agreed that the inclusion of on-premise laundry solutions is key to keeping both staff and guests happy.
