Mobile technology group Apadmi surveyed 1,000 people who have taken a holiday in the last 12 months and found that half of consumers want to avoid queues and delays through access to mobile check-ins at hotels, airports and when hiring transport.

Travellers also think the sector needs to offer more ways to use mobile devices while on holiday, offering centralised digital hubs with all the travel information needed when going on holiday, access to language tools and better use of mobile payment systems.
