A Melbourne Airbnb host has denied murder, but has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of a guest who could not pay the A$210 (£113, $149) he owed them, saying he was only looking to punish the man, not kill or seriously injure him.

Airbnb announced being “deeply saddened and outraged” and has removed the listing.
