The government has allowed hotels and other lodges, including resorts, aparthotels, tourist inns, motels, pension houses, private homestay residences, ecolodges, serviced apartments, condotels, and B&B facilities to operate in the Philippines, but only for “accommodation purposes”.

Establishments may open where community quarantine is in place, providing they have a certificate of authority from the Department of Tourism, based on the latest government pandemic response.

Spas, bars, gyms, restaurants and cafes within such facilities, along with room service, will still not be allowed, but packed meals and food orders for take-out and delivery are allowed.
