Airbnb hosts across Ireland are coming to terms with the financial implications of mass cancellations due to the spread of Covis-19.

There has coincidentally been a jump in the number of rental properties available in the Republic, with a marked increase in the number of rental adverts for properties in March, especially in Dublin where  303 of the 353 additional listings are based.

The platform has even asked the US Congress to help with tax relief and loans to benefit its network of hosts.
