Agreement has been reached in parliament on how many days Danish homeowners can rent out their homes through Airbnb, and how much can be earned before tax must be paid; and now the Tax Ministry of Denmark is the first in the world to get Airbnb to report digitally on its hosts’ rental income direct to the authorities.

Danish hosts can earn up to 28,000 kroner a year from rentals (c.£3,285) before paying taxes, for a maximum of 70 nights.
