The Guild of Travel Management Companies is committed to raising standards and supporting best practice throughout the corporate travel industry, to ensure that the business traveller’s interests are protected and supported at an industry level.
As part of this, it has today announced its endorsement of ASAP’s code of practice, along with that of the Hotel Booking Agents Association (HBAA).
As part of ASAP’s code of practice, all Members will soon be obliged to join its Quality Accreditation process, on joining and then on an annual basis, to reassure customers, travel bookers and travel management companies that accredited providers will always deliver a consistent high standard of facilities, comfort and health and safety.
The HBAA requires agency, hotel and venue members to adhere to the MBAA code of practice on joining, to ensure a professional standard of service is maintained from end-to-end.
