The ASAP agenda has been confirmed, with sessions focusing on the likely far-reaching impact of Brexit and the key industry challenges for the year ahead.
Hilary Bagshaw, EU Exit Immigration Policy Stakeholder Engagement Lead from the Home Office, will be hot off the press from the launch of the new settlement process and John Guthrie, Employment Policy Advisor from UKHospitality will be addressing the consequences of Brexit on the hospitality sector.
The themes of the 2018 Convention have been tailored to engage with the key issues facing the serviced apartment and hospitality sectors over the next 12 months. Employee retention and the ‘threat’ of OTAs and technology are also cited as the top concerns and form the basis of workshops and sessions over the two-day event.
Mike Ashton (pictured), Managing Director at ABCG, will be holding an interactive workshop on day one (December 5th), which will focus on delivering great customer service. Mike said: “I’m delighted to be participating in the 2018 ASAP Convention. This is without doubt one of the UK’s premier business events, reflecting the success and excitement of this flourishing sector.”
