Hotels and resorts globally are slowly beginning to reopen, having taken a hard hit since the WHO declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic, in March 2020.

By May, the average US hotel occupancy was 33%, down from 69% the year before, according to ASAP Business Partner STR.

This article discusses the challenge faced by hotels to mitigate the spread of coronavirus on their premises while making sure guests feel safe, comfortable and relaxed.
