Hospitality professionals are set to enjoy a stellar line up of keynote speakers at this year’s ASAP Convention 2018, with Jim Lawless (below left) and Andy Edwards confirmed for the two-day event.
Jim and Andy are both highly acclaimed training professionals and will bring a wealth of industry knowledge from their respective fields to the must-attend event in London, on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th December.
Commenting on the line-up, James Foice, Chief Executive of ASAP, says: “We are thrilled to have secured two of the industry’s most renowned keynote speakers at this year’s event. Jim is known world over for his talks, with more than half a million people over five different continents being entertained by his insightful sessions. We’re delighted to be able to bring his expertise to the convention!”
Jim will share his practical framework for doing things differently, in his ‘Taming Tigers’ speech, inspired by his namesake book in the morning of day two.
Andy Edwards (right), an inspiring and highly sought-after motivational speaker, who specialises in business relationships, will join Jim for the afternoon of day two of the convention to deliver his inspiring keynote; ‘I’ve upped my interpersonal skills – up yours!’
James adds: “Andy’s session will address why people do or don’t get on and how we can all adapt and connect with different types of personality for the best possible results in business – a hugely important matter that all industries need to get on board with, not just hospitality.”
Discussing his participation at this year’s event, Andy says: “I’m looking forward to meeting the ASAP attendees and can promise an engaging, thought-provoking and fun session. I’ve guest lectured on hospitality degree courses, spoken at many hospitality conferences and for major hotel brands – and have even worked with ASAP members. The main qualification I have for standing up and speaking at this years’ ASAP conference is that I use serviced apartments regularly – I am your customer!”
Stephen Frost (left), lecturer of Inclusive Leadership at Harvard University Business School, is also a featured speaker at the convention delivering a session: ‘Diversity is a reality. Inclusion is a choice. Creating a lasting impact for your business’. Stephen is recognised for his support with organisations and adding measurable value to their bottom line.
The 2018 ASAP convention will look at what the future has in store for the industry, offering key industry data and insights over the course of two days via seminars, workshops and Q&A sessions.
