Expedia’s data for the first half of 2018 shows that demand for hotels increased across Scotland over last year, with a 10% increase in both Glasgow and Aberdeen.

Now Expedia Group and VisitScotland are partnering to help drive travel demand, particularly during the low season, using Expedia’s suite of value-adding technology tools and tapping into its data expertise to help VisitScotland conduct a visitor experience review.

Riddell Graham, Director of Industry and Destination Development at VisitScotland, described tourism as more than a holiday experience, but as something that creates jobs, sustains communities and provides a shop window for Scotland across the world.
