According to the latest report from the European Travel Commission, Europe continues to be the most visited region in the world, with international tourist arrivals in 2018 up 6%.

32 out of 33 destinations registered expansion, with travel to Turkey top up 22%, and Serbia was second, up 15%, benefiting from its visa-free access to Chinese passport holders.

However, ‘No Deal’ Brexit-related uncertainty continues to have a negative impact on the sector, with economic drivers, airline disruption and increased passport regulation likely to reduce outbound trips from the UK by up to eight million.
