The European Commission has warned Airbnb that it could face enforcement action if it does not make its pricing and terms clearer including all fees and charges and it must make more distinction between private and professional hosts.

It has to comply with EU law, along with a lot of other changes around legal action guests can take, its refund policies, compensation and providing a link to the Online Dispute Resolution platform on its website.

Airbnb has until the end of August to present proposals on how it will address the issues.
