The UK Department for Transport has said that new regulations originally due to come into force on Friday 15 January requiring passengers arriving in England from overseas needing to provide a negative Covid test, are now delayed until 4am on Monday 18 January.
The government has also announced the minimum requirements for the type of test taken, and that the notice of the test result must be in English, French or Spanish.
