India’s 21-day countrywide lockdown is forcing co-living companies to get their houses in order, after seeing a 25% drop in business, 40-50% drop in occupancy and growth halved from 140% to 70%.

Co-living was an industry that was booming across the country until very recently, on the back of the basic premise that there was a seemingly bottomless demand for hassle-free, affordable accommodation for a large population of working professionals and students.
