The Colliers International UK Hotels Market Index shows that Edinburgh still tops the list of cities in the UK for hotel investment, followed by Belfast and Liverpool.

The Scottish capital maintained consistently strong occupancy and average daily room rate levels last year, while RevPAR grew for the past four consecutive years. London enjoys the strongest RevPAR, but only makes sixth place due to the high cost of land.

The other cities in the top ten are Chester, Bath, Glasgow, Brighton, Cambridge and Leeds.
