CapitaLand, parent company to ASAP Member Ascott, has pledged up to RMB1 million ($198,098) in donations to support flood relief efforts in Chongqing, China.

The city has upgraded its flood control response to the highest level, but was flooded on Aug 20.

CapitaLand’s Raffles City Chongqing has remained safe from the flooding, but two of Ascott’s serviced residences are affected: Ascott Nanbin Chongqing and Somerset Yangtze River Chongqing.

In-house guests were relocated to the group’s inland properties for safety.
