A first-ever revealing of statistics by the global giant booking.com claims it offers more than 820,000 unique properties, totalling around 21 million bookable rooms worldwide.
The company also said 6.6 million of these bookable rooms are outside the “traditional hotel” sector, to include 30 different category types from holiday rentals, apartments and villas to igloos, boats and even tree-houses.
