Birmingham City Council and not-for-profit developer Housing 21 have highlighted land which they’re hoping to developwith  co-living schemes for older people.

Proposals for two sites will aim to provide housing that promotes the benefits of living in a community setting whilst tackling social isolation.

Around 50 properties will be developed, forming part of Birmingham City Council’s aim to accelerate housing delivery across the region, and will reflect the ethnic diversity of the city and the changing requirements of older people. Everything from management and communal space to style and design will be decided by future residents.
