Koddi, a US-based travel metasearch bid automation platform, has acquired the travel performance-marketing business of French digital advertising company Criteo, stating that it will be able to drive traffic to its clients and to get closer insights into ad performance at the property level.

In October 2016, Criteo bought performance marketing HookLogic, but is only passing to Koddi its non-core hotel-focused services while itself retaining HookLogic’s retail-focused business.

Separately Criteo has a large retargeting business, including for travel brands like Expedia, that it will also retain.
