Work is set to begin in central Belfast on a new 9-storey, 175-unit aparthotel after the developer secured a 25-year lease with ASAP Member Lamington’s ‘hometel’brand.

The project is expected to be completed by the autumn of 2021.

Robert Godwin of the Lamington Group described the Belfast hotel market as “maturing and changing at a very fast pace”. This is just one of a series of major developments planned for the city’s Queen Street area, which includes plans to turn the street’s former police station into a 74-bed boutique hotel.
