ASAP announces the judging panel for the 2020 ASAP Serviced Apartment Industry Awards.
ASAP –the not-for-profit trade body for the serviced apartment sector is delighted to announce the members of its judging panel for the 2020 ASAP Serviced Apartment Industry Awards programme which is currently open to entries. The Association is very fortunate to have secured a number of influential and highly experienced industry leaders and experts in their field to form its independent judging panel alongside key members of the ASAP team for the 2020 Awards who are confirmed as:

James Foice, Chief Executive of the ASAP, comments: ‘The ASAP Serviced Apartment Industry Awards programme is now well established in its 8th year, and the Association is extremely pleased to have secured the support of well-respected industry leaders and experts in their field who are generously giving of their time to assist in the judging process of the 2020 Awards. We are pleased to be joined by our key partners from the CHPA, Savills and STR but are delighted to welcome for the first time a number of new judges. In recognition of the significance of the relocation and business travel sector and the work that ASAP are doing to meet the needs of corporate buyers, it’s great to welcome Stuart Lawson from Crown Worldwide Group, Andy Hoskins from the Business Travel Magazine and Anita Blanchett to our panel.”
Foice continues “In reflection of the important role of the booking agent to our sector, we’re thrilled to be joined by Juliet Price of the HBAA and also Mike Ashton of ABCG as we strive to ensure quality and the guest experience within the sector and in recognition of new categories we’re delighted to welcome Elle Moss of Drew London, and Andrea Nicholas from Green Tourism who will bring an expert eye with their areas of expertise as we include new separated categories for marketing and the new sustainability award.”
The sector continues to grow strongly and with ASAP’s membership having now extended to 20 countries (with 6 further companies currently in the pipeline) we are expecting a record number of entries to the awards which has seen a number of brand new categories included within the 2020 programme.
The countdown to the submission deadline is well and truly underway with only 3 weeks left until awards entries must be submitted – the submission deadline is Friday 21st February 2020 1700 GMT and the initial judging stages will take place shortly after.
The shortlisted finalists will be announced in May, with the presentation of the highly coveted awards taking place at a glittering new look summer Gala Dinner event which is taking place on June 18 2020 at the fabulous Café de Paris, which will offer a wonderful opportunity for the sector to come together and celebrate the excellence and outstanding achievements across the global sector.
