A loan of £750,000 has been issued to convert two vacant upper floors of the an-storey office building in Newport, South Wales, into 28-roomed aparthotel accommodation.

This is part of the City Council’s £1 million repayable funding from the Welsh Government to support regeneration projects across the city.

The money will also enable an upgrade of the building facade which is described as ‘tired’ and in need of investment.
