In an  open and candid conversation on Christmas night, Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky went direct to Twitter to ask what the company should look to do in 2017,  and within a day received more than 1,400 replies, 351 retweets, and 1,500 likes.

The tweets offered a number of insights into the future of Airbnb, direct from the consumer, at a pivotal time in the company’s eight-year history.

The conversation included hints about adding an Airbnb twist to flights.
