Airbnb has released the results of recent surveys, which show holiday spending is predicted to rise in 2020, and that Black Americans are setting new trends in US travel.

Specifically, 50% of Black Americans are planning to travel for cultural and heritage reasons, to locations or landmarks associated with their ethnic or cultural heritage, which is 16% higher than the general population.

This year, 38% of Black adults are looking to spend their vacations enjoying food-related experiences.

As a result of the findings, Airbnb has drawn up some Black-led Experiences around the country including a Memphis Southern Food and Culture Tour and a Black Walking Tour of Philadelphia.
