According to a report in Reuters, Airbnb is looking to move into the streaming media business to complement its glossy magazine, on the heels of Amazon and Walmart, and Apple’s future planned service.

Airbnb’s documentary series called “Home” has already been made for Apple featuring quirky homes and their owners, and its feature-length ffilm Gay Chorus Deep South will premiere next week at the Tribeca Film Festival.

It is believed the company is looking to raise its visibility with a new audience that resists booking stays in strangers’ homes.
