A £90million plan to transform a historic site, the A-listed Custom House, on Glasgow’s waterfront with a boutique hotel, bar, restaurant and conference facilities has been unveiled, along with a 150-room aparthotel planned for the adjacent tenement buildings.

A detailed planning application is expected to be submitted in spring 2018 with a completion date set, subject to planning, for mid-2020, as part of a long-standing council-backed scheme to transform the waterfront.
