The much touted non-stop air route from China to Edinburgh has finally launched, with the first flight landing in the Scottish capital on June 12th.

The Hainan Airlines flight from Beijing will run twice a week along with two to Dublin.

Chinese tourism is hugely important to the country’s economy, and has already contributed £26.5m to Edinburgh alone. China is very important inbound growth market for many of our Scottish members, so the new direct flight is very much welcomed by ASAP and our members.
