ASAP Member Dublin-based aparthotel operator Staycity Group has reported sales up 2.4% in the year to July 2019.

Occupancy grew to an average of 86.4% across the group in that time, up to 85.8% in the UK.

This is despite fears around a hard Brexit, which the group admits may affect future profitability by softening demand for hotel accommodation.

Staycity has recently opened sites in Venice and Paris, with properties in Berlin and Edinburgh coming on stream before the end of the year and further signings announced in London, Dublin, Berlin and Frankfurt.
