Given the immediacy of the UK’s vote to leave the EU, it’s too early to say exactly what kind of impact this will have on the travel and tourism industry.

In the short term there is likely to be an impact on some big online travel agency companies — Expedia, Priceline, and TripAdvisor — but they probably aren’t overly concerned. And given the falling value of the British pound it’s probably a good time for international visitors to consider visiting the UK.

There are likely to be bigger impli cations in the longer term, and this article considers the views of spokepeople from major players such as Travelzoo, ABTA, Ryanair, Expedia, Marriott International, TripAdvisor, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, GBTA, WTTC, InterContinental Hotels Group, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings and Etihad Aviation Group, basically summing up business as usual.
