The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and representatives of the hospitality sector in the UK are hosting forums about the power of the largest OTAs, detailing the CMA’s ongoing consumer law investigation into online hotel booking platforms.

The newly-formed UKHospitality has hosted forums in Edinburgh and Cardiff, with plans for London, Birmingham and Manchester.

CMA representatives will discuss its consumer investigation into such concerns as ranking through commission paid, not relevance to consumer and misleading reference pricing.
