“The American Express Future of Travel”, a new survey from American Express, shows that millennials are not always so different from their baby boomer parents when it comes to travel.

Both groups enjoy personal service, both have had positive experiences with a travel agent, both still choose traditional hotels first, and both enjoy enhanced in-room technology. Nearly 70% of millennials said they would  plan a personalised travel experience rather than a pre-packaged trip, but nearly 60% would choose a package if it was the cheaper. However, more than 25% more millennials than their parents are happy for their data from previous trips to help advise their future travel.
