Planning permission has been granted for an €80 million development in Dublin city centre, to build a 393-bedroom budget hotel beside a 202-unit aparthotel, which will be operated under a long-term lease by ASAP Quality Accredited Operator Member Staycity, along with restaurant and a 21-unit social housing apartment block.

Construction is expected to begin later this year with completion due by late 2020.

The hotel operator is as yet unknown, but the developer’s planned 158-bedroom budget hotel nearby will be a Moxy Hotel, the budget brand developed by Marriot and Ikea.
