Two imposing red sandstone buildings at Barrow Island were built almost 150 years ago to house shipyard workers at the Devonshire Docks, and still feature more than 100 residential flats.

Following a major refurbishment, a number of them have been furnished to offer fully serviced accommodation to be let “ultra flexibly” by the week, to meet demand from shipyard contractors for serviced apartments in the area.
